Position: Computer Systems Analyst
Supervisor: Vice President
Duties: Responsible for testing, maintenance and monitoring of client systems, including servers, backup systems, anti-virus programs and applications. Develops and documents system test procedures and quality indicators. Analyzes existing capabilities and computation needs, assesses user requirements and recommends software and/or hardware solutions to optimize functionality, improve work flow and compatibility of systems, programs and applications within the organization. Recommends pre-developed application packages and adapts them to a specific user environment. Reviews and analyzes system performance indicators to locate and correct code problems. Provides technical support to users, prioritizes issues and escalates when necessary. Provides training to users and staff to work with new systems and programs.
Travel Requirement: May telecommute from home office up to 10%. Travel up to 5% required to various, unanticipated and unpredictable U.S. worksites depending on changing business needs and opportunities. Relocation is not required.
Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or closely related information technology field or a foreign equivalent.
